All Things Related to Concussions

What are Concussions?

Concussions are classified as a traumatic brain injury (TBI), which is damage to the brain from external forces such as a rapid acceleration or deceleration, impact, blasts, waves or penetration by a projectile. Since there are many concussions that are not diagnosed by using a MRI or CT scan, we recommend also carefully watching the person to see if any symptoms arise.
